The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway is an organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of historic railroad equipment for the education and entertainment of the general public.

All rides depart from the Nelsonville Depot, located at 33 E. Canal Street on U.S. Route 33 in Nelsonville, Ohio (see map below). This is 56 miles southeast of Columbus, Ohio, from the I-70 intersection, and 13 miles north of Athens, Ohio.
